Alabama's most important annual tournament, the State Championship, will once again be held over the Labor Day weekend, September 1,2,3. Rumor has it that both Birmingham and Montgomery have expressed an interest in staging this year's version-the 26th in the series, but no formal bids have been received as of yet.
